How food travels inside your body

Digestion: is the set of changes that happens to food as it travels along the digestive tract. The objective of these changes is to transform food into nutrients.

Absorption: the nutrients pass to the blood through capillaries which are found in the villus in the small intestine walls.

Excretion: the preparation and elimination of the part of our food that our body does not need.
