1986: Chernobyl Disaster. 

1989: The fall of the Berlin Wall

1990: Gulf War, also known as Operation Desert Storm. It was a conflict where a coalition led by the United States fought Iraq after Iraq, led by Saddam Hussein, invaded Kuwait. The war began with a massive aerial bombing campaign and was followed by a swift ground assault, leading to the liberation of Kuwait.

The IRAQ war started because the USA was searching for WMD (Weapons of Mass Destruction). In the end they didn't find any. 

This crisis started in the USA. The main reason was due to the lot of mortgages that banks gave to people that didn't have enough money to pay.
