Types of Intelligence and role models (By Raquel Hernández)

During the talk held on Friday, 12th March we mentioned very briefly some role models to motivate you to choose studies linked to STEM which means: Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, disciplines that in the future will provide a lot of jobs. 🕵🏻‍♂️👨🏻‍🎓👩🏻‍🌾👩🏻‍🍳👨🏻‍💻👨🏻‍🚀👨🏻‍🚒

TALENT is the ability we have to do something, to perform or exercise an activity. It is something that we are very good at.

Everyone has one or more talents, and with those talents, with effort and work, you can learn what you want and become ‘cracks’ doing what you like. What are your talents? 🐱‍🏍

Talents are related with intelligence, but the thing is that we can have more than one intelligence, actually there are a lot of them!🙌

Let's see them! And also think which ones do you like most! Maybe all of them?

1. Naturalist Intelligence

According to Gardner, individuals who are high in this type of intelligence are more in tune with nature and are often interested in exploring the environment, and learning about animals and plants. 🎍

People with naturalistic intelligence:

Are interested in subjects such as botany, biology, and zoology

Categorize and catalog information easily

Someone with this kind of intelligence is Jane Goodall, a British primatologist, ethologist, anthropologist and a United Nations (UN) Messenger of Peace.
