The Modern Age

The Modern Age started in 1492 and finished in 1789.

Do you know what happened in those two dates? Watch this video first.


Here is a timeline with the most important names and events from the Modern Age. Copy this in your notebook.


First we have the Catholic Monarchs (Reyes Católicos), then the Habsburg dinasty which is a group of kings, and then the Bourbon dinasty.

Tha Habsburg dinasty are also called "Los Austrias". During the Habsburg dinasty, Spain was a big Empire.
